The agricultural sector will receive 13.1 billion UAH in state support - Ministry of Economy

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in the second reading the Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget for 2026." According to the document, in 2026, 13.1 billion UAH (+ 3.5 billion compared to 2025) is allocated for financial support of agricultural producers. Specifically: financial support for agricultural producers – 9.3 billion UAH, farmers – 2.5 billion UAH, humanitarian demining of land – 2 billion UAH, support for the development of irrigation - 197 million UAH; launch of agricultural insurance - 60 million UAH. In particular, the funds will be directed to: frontline territories based on a unit of arable land; agricultural producers using reclaimed land and water user organizations; insurance of agricultural products; livestock development; producers engaged in breeding, keeping, and raising freshwater fish in frontline territories; farming households through the single contribution mechanism for mandatory state social insurance.
