MURCIA, Oct. 2 (EUROPA PRESS) - The Autonomous Community has paid this week aid amounting to nearly 4.5 million euros to almost 2,700 beneficiaries of the meat and citrus sectors for the losses caused by the crisis generated by Russia's invasion of Ukraine last month February. Specifically, the investment for the defense of the meat sector of Murcian livestock translates, in the field of ruminant animals (the suckler cow, fattening cattle and sheep and goats), into almost 820,000 euros destined for 442 farmers; poultry farming receives about 228,000 euros, with 112 beneficiaries; and rabbit farming is favored with just over 36,000 euros, distributed to 10 farmers.
