Cai Be is the district with the largest fruit growing area in Tien Giang province, with more than 25,500 hectares. Up to this point, Cai Be district (Tien Giang province) has been granted 29 jackfruit growing area codes with a scale of more than 5,100 hectares. Recently, Cai Be district has accelerated the progress of granting and managing growing area codes and packaging facility codes to firmly develop specialized fruit growing areas with competitive advantages locally. Issuing codes for fruit growing areas, including jackfruit growing, not only helps trace the origin but also tightly ties production according to certain processes. This is to meet the requirements of the importing country, helping farmers be aware of production issues closely related to product quality and price.
