Specifically, the export of vegetables amounted to 2.4 million tons (-3.6%) and 3,413 million euros (+9.8%), with peppers standing out, with 400,320 tons (-3%) for a value of €660 million (+0.3%); lettuce with 390,036 tons (-6%) and 448.5 million euros (+8%) and tomato, with 323,560 tons (-7%) and 598 million euros (+20%). In the case of fruit, sales abroad amounted to 2.3 million tons (-0.6%) for a value of 3,072 million euros (+1.4%). After citrus fruits, strawberry stands out with 209,772 tons exported (-6%) for a value of 565.5 million euros (+11%).
