Chile: The export fruit season to the United States begins, projecting a 15% increase in production

With a tour of the SAG/USDA-ASOEX/APHIS Inspection Site, the Minister of Agriculture, Esteban Valenzuela; the Regional Presidential Delegate, Rubén Quezada; together with the Regional Manager of ASOEX, Cristian Sotomayor and regional authorities, kicked off the export season to the United States, highlighting the importance of the operation of this site for fruit producers in the region and that, according to the projections of the Association of Exporters (ASOEX), this season there could be a 15% increase in fruit production, given the weather forecasts for this season. During the instance, the work of the Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG) was surveyed as an organization of international prestige and that allows us to improve the competitiveness of our products in international markets.
