PONT data confirm that the fruit and vegetable processing sector was one of the most affected by the pandemic, in which export sales in 2q20 decreased by 7.2% y / y, while the value of foreign sales of frozen fruit in 1q20 recorded an increase by 5.6% y / y , total sales in April and May decreased by 5.5% y / y.
