Polish farmers, under the leadership of Sławomir Izdebski, chairman of OPZZ Farmers and Agricultural Organizations, are protesting against the European Green Deal and demanding the government's withdrawal from it. They are also seeking a halt to the unregulated import of agricultural products from Ukraine and the continuation of fur farming in Poland. Despite discussions with the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Czesław Siekierski, the farmers assert that there have been no substantial negotiations with the government. A larger protest, involving agricultural organizations from across Europe, is scheduled for February 27.
