The Mapa recognizes the Association of Producer Organization Fishing Spain as a national entity

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has published today in the Official State Gazette (BOE) an extract of the resolution of October 19, 2022 approving the recognition of the Association of Producer Organizations Fishing Spain as an Association of National Producer Organizations (AOP).
With this, the ministry reiterates its commitment to promote and strengthen this type of organization, so that they can play a relevant role in achieving the objectives of the Common Organization of Markets; as well as the correct management of the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP). This organization is the second AOP recognized in Spain, and has been formed from the Organization of Associated Producers of Large Freezer Tuna Vessels (OPP-1), the Organization of Fishing Producers of the Port of Burela (OPP-7), the Organization of Fishery Producers of the Port of Celeiro (OPP-77), the Organization of Producers of Hake, Cephalopod and Various Species Freezer Vessels (OPP-3), the Organization of Fishery Producers OPMALLORCAMAR (OPP-58) and the Organization of Producers of Fresh Fishing from the Port of La Coruña (OPP-13).
