A total of 5 billion rubles will be allocated for these purposes. Starting in 2026, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia will provide subsidies to agricultural colleges for the training of specialists under the "Agroprofessional" program, as well as grants for the modernization of the infrastructure of educational institutions and the development of modern educational programs. This was announced by Yulia Kondykova, Director of the Department of Scientific and Technological Policy and Education at the Ministry of Agriculture, at a roundtable in the Federation Council. Colleges will also be able to apply for the "Agroprofi" grant, aimed at modernizing infrastructure and transforming educational programs of agricultural colleges taking into account the interests of the business, as well as increasing labor productivity and introducing innovations in the industry.
