The Nonghyup Daegu Headquarters, rural experience activities with Keimyung University students... conveying the value of agriculture

[Nongsuchuksan Newspaper=Reporter Jang Insik] The Nonghyup Daegu Main Office (Head Jeon Kyungsoo) visited a persimmon farm in Bonmal-ri, Yuga-eup, Dalseong-gun last month 31st, conducting a rural experience activity with around 60 students from Keimyung University. This experience was an event organized as part of the Nongsimcheonsim movement, where students directly experienced persimmon harvesting, gaining a meaningful understanding of the value of agriculture and the reality of labor shortages in rural areas. On that day, employees of the Daegu Nonghyup and students from Keimyung University participated in persimmon harvesting experiences and selection work, and through exchanges with local farmers, they also shared vivid stories from the agricultural site.
