[Reporter Hong Lan, Korean Farmers and Fishermen Newspaper] The Korea Rural Economic Corporation held a meeting to directly hear the opinions of young farmers and discuss directions for improving the farmland bank system. On October 30, the corporation held the "2025 Central Council Forum for Young Farmers" at its Naju headquarters with 44 young farmers in attendance, where they discussed the current state of farmland use by young farmers and ways to improve the system. To reflect the opinions of young farmers, who are key policy demanders, on-site, the Rural Economic Corporation is operating 94 "Regional Councils for Young Farmers" nationwide. This forum, themed "Sharing the current state and development plans for farmland use by young farmers," was held in collaboration with the regional councils.
