Such data are provided by analysts of the European Commission in their monitoring. It is noted that Indonesia, which is the main producer of this product, became the main supplier of “palms” to the EU in the reporting period - exports over 10 months amounted to over 1.74 million tons. This is 42.1% of the total number of shipments against 42.5% according to the results of the previous monitoring. Starting April 28, a ban on the export of palm oil came into force in the country, which will remain in effect until further notice from the authorities.
