The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has appointed a Supervisory Board for the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" comprising three independent members and a state representative. This move, in line with OECD principles, aims to enhance corporate governance and international trust. The board includes Markiyan Vytvytskyi, Roberts Stripnieks, Janne Harjunpää, and Oleksiy Kucher. In other news, the state has permitted residents of conflict areas to harvest wood for free, and the State Forest Fund has received UAH 10 million from the sale of Forests of Ukraine's assets.
