The Department of Agricultural Quarantine at the Ministry of Agriculture confirmed that the last date for Egyptian shipments to enter the UAE without attaching a certificate of analysis of pesticide residues is March 14. The Department of Agricultural Quarantine stressed the need to follow these instructions so that the exported agricultural shipments would not be stopped inside the UAE. Last December, the UAE excluded Egyptian agricultural exports from attaching a certificate for pesticide residues until mid-March, provided that the shipments are examined at the port of arrival by the Emiratis.
