The National Institute of Yerba Mate (INYM) reported today that domestic consumption and exports of yerba mate exceeded 45 million kilograms during the first two months, the entry of raw material to dryers exceeded 23 million and the best-selling formats continue being the packages of half a kilo. The INYM monthly report for February of this year indicates that the volume of yerba mate produced for the Argentine market "was 19,923,346 kilograms, while exports reached 2,934,824 kg."
