Russia: The yield of grain crops in three regions of Transbaikalia exceeds 20 centners per hectare

Agricultural producers in Transbaikalia continue to harvest grain crops. To date, 31.8 thousand tons of grain have been collected.

In three municipalities of the Trans-Baikal Territory, the average yield today exceeds 20 centners per hectare. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the region Alexander Tyukavkin.

“According to operational data, the region’s farmers threshed grain crops on an area of 17.8 thousand hectares, producing 31.8 thousand tons of grain. The average yield is 19.2 centners per hectare. The leaders in threshing are the farms of the Borzinsky, Chernyshevsky and Chita districts, where the yield exceeds 20 centners per hectare,” said the deputy minister.

Let us note that wheat is currently harvested in agricultural organizations of Transbaikalia on an area of 11 thousand hectares, 18.9 thousand tons have been received.

Oats are threshed on an area of 6.4 thousand hectares, 12.3 thousand tons of grain are threshed.
