The 'Beekeeping Support Program' coordinated by the Bilecik Governor's Office and carried out by the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry was held with a ceremony at Cumhuriyet Square. Speaking at the program, Governor Faik Oktay Sözer said, "Bilecik stands out as one of the most valuable provinces in terms of beekeeping in Turkey due to its topography and different climatic features, extending from the Sakarya Basin to the plateaus up to 1,788 meters in elevation. Thanks to its floristic diversity, rich nectar sources, and easy access, Bilecik is among the natural centers of high-quality flower honey production.
