thyssenkrupp Uhde will develop two projects for the production of "green" ammonia in Brazil

thyssenkrupp Uhde has received contracts for carrying out pre-FEED (front-end engineering design) for two "green" ammonia production plants in Brazil, which are being developed by Fuella AS. The PeGA and AçuGA projects are planned to be implemented in the ports of Pecem and Açu. Each of them involves the production of 400,000 tons of "green" ammonia per year using renewable energy sources. As part of the pre-FEED phase, the company will be engaged in optimizing the technical concept, performing key engineering works, and preparing the economic justification for the projects. thyssenkrupp Uhde will apply its own ammonia synthesis technology, uhde® ammonia, adapted to operate with energy from renewable sources.
