By Giordanna Neves Brasília, 06/16/2025 - Brazil's trade balance registered a trade surplus of US$ 1.215 billion in the second week of June. According to data from the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services (MDIC) recently released, the value was achieved with exports of US$ 7.461 billion and imports of US$ 6.246 billion. This year, the accumulated surplus is US$ 27.539 billion. Through the second week of June, compared to the same period last year, exports grew 1.1% and totaled US$ 14.52 billion. The result was due to a 6.7% drop in Agriculture, which totaled US$ 3.59 billion; a 6.7% drop in Extractive Industry, which reached US$ 3.10 billion; and finally, an 8.7% growth in Manufacturing Industry, which reached US$ 7.76 billion.
