Ukraine's grain harvest for 2024 is projected to reach approximately 55 million metric tons, up from the previous forecast of 54 million tons, as per the country's agriculture minister, Vitaliy Koval. The country's grain exportable surplus for the 2024/25 season is estimated to be 40.3 million tons, comprising 16.2 million tons of wheat, 20.5 million tons of corn, and 2.9 million tons of barley. This makes Ukraine a significant global grain grower and exporter, with exports expected to surpass 51 million tons in the 2023/24 season.
