Ukraine corn totals see boost from favorable weather — FAS USDA

For the 2024-25 harvest, exports are estimated at 20 million tonnes, a 32% drop from the previous year. A key global supplier, top destinations for Ukraine’s corn included the European Union and Turkey. Wheat production is estimated at 22.8 million tonnes, similar to 2024-25. Exports from July to September 2025 dropped 23% to 4.7 million tonnes, the FAS said, due to a delayed harvest and lower production volumes, new tariffs introduced by the EU and weak domestic prices that encouraged farmers to hold onto their stocks. Among the world’s top shippers of wheat, total exports for 2025-26 are estimated at 14.8 million tonnes, down 6% from the previous year.
