According to the latest data from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, as of December 8, 8.9 million tons of sugar beets were dug up in Ukraine from an area of 176.7 thousand hectares. So far, beets have been harvested from 98% of the areas, and the average yield this year was 5.02 t/ha. It is noted that in the West, namely in the Lviv, Ternopil, and Rivne regions, the area sown under sugar beet has increased.
