In Ukraine, in January-June 2021, 7.58 thousand tons of finished products and canned fish were made (except for whole or sliced and ready-made fish dishes). This is 45% more than in the same period last year. This was reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food with reference to the State Statistics Service.
The growth of fish production was also observed in the following commodity positions: - dried, dried, salted or unsalted fish; salted fish, but not dried; fish in brine (except for smoked fish, fish fillets, fish heads, tails and bellies) - 5.15 thousand tons (+ 4%); - dried and dried fish - 2.31 thousand tons (+ 8%); - caviar of other fish - 1.9 thousand tons (+ 41%); - smoked fish (including fillets, except Pacific, Atlantic and Danube salmon, herring and trout, as well as fish heads, tails and bellies) - 1.99 thousand tons (+ 12%); - ready-made products and canned ...
