The average daily loading of grain cargo in May amounted to 44,000 tons,” the report says. At the same time, there is also a positive trend - in the last week of May, the average daily load increased to 50-69 thousand tons (before that, its volume fluctuated in the range of 30-35 thousand tons). As Valeriy Tkachev, Deputy Director of the Commercial Work Department of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia, explained, the improvement is primarily due to the fact that the work of the “grain corridor” has resumed.
