Panennews.com - A significant price drop in the chili and broiler chicken groups characterized the movement of the traditional market in the West Java region during Friday trading (26/6/2026). The trend of leveling off in the horticulture and livestock sectors towards the end of this week occurred amid the stable supply of staple foods such as all quality rice, beef commodities, and branded packaged cooking oil. Based on data from the Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) of Bank Indonesia, the red chili commodity recorded the deepest price correction, plunging 13.07 percent to Rp59,200 per kilogram, followed by broiler chicken which fell 2.55 percent to Rp34,350 per kilogram.
