The USDA's latest report on weekly export sales has shown a notable decrease in the demand for both soybeans and corn, falling short of market expectations. Soybean sales for the week ending December 5 dropped by 49% from the previous week and 42% from the average of the last four weeks, with China being the primary buyer. The total season's soybean sales to date have surpassed the previous year, reaching 37,284.2 million tons. As for corn, sales decreased by 45% from the previous week and 32% from the average of the last four weeks, with Colombia as the main buyer. Once again, the total season's corn sales have exceeded last year's figures, amounting to 35.181.1 million tons. Additionally, the report indicated moderate sales of soybean meal and oil, with Mexico and South Korea as the main buyers for these derivatives.
