Recently, scientists of the Institute conducted a tasting of new varieties of golden currant: "Siyuma", "Rukhshona", "Muhabbat", "Uzbek sweet", "Gulnoz", "Iroda", "Yadgor", "Nargiz", as well as introduced varieties: "Lyovushka ”, “Vika”, “Asya”, “Valentina”, “Gift of Ariadne” and hybrid “3759/6”, according to a special report by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture. According to Khilola Abdullayeva, a breeder of the institute, these varieties are distinguished by high productivity, transportability, resistance to abiotic factors, rich in macro and microelements. In addition, they are resistant to various diseases, and their fruits are high in vitamin C. “Compared to other varieties (existing - editorial note), the new hybrids have a larger fruit size, more firmness and fewer seeds, but at the same time they are quite juicy.
