Vietnamese seafood exports to the US increased by 80% after 10 years

Source: According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), the main seafood products exported to the US have had a breakthrough in sales after 10 years. Shrimp exports alone will increase by 77% from 454 million USD in 2012 to 807 million USD in 2022, of which shrimp exports will reach a peak of over 1 billion USD in 2021. Pangasius exports increased by 50% from 359 million USD to 537 million USD, and tuna doubled from 244 million USD to 489 million USD. These three industries account for over 80% of seafood export turnover to the US.
