We have repeatedly informed about the satisfactory prices of pears this season. A 20-kilo box of high quality Konferencja on the wholesale market in Bronisze cost PLN 100 already in February. After a few weeks of prices at around PLN 120, the time has come for further increases. Currently, the box is valued at PLN 140. It happens that the price of a kilogram exceeds PLN 7.00. The increases in Poland result from price increases in the Benelux countries. Let's look at the quotes there. First-class fruit over 60 mm in diameter costs EUR 1.30 - 1.37 (PLN 5.92 - 6.24/kg) in the West. Below 1 euro/kg, you can currently only buy second-class pears with a diameter of less than 55 mm.
