The analytical center "SovEcon" estimated Russia's wheat exports in July at 2 million tons, reports Reuters. A week earlier, the forecast for exports was at 2.1 million tons, while in July of the previous year, shipments, according to the center, amounted to 4 million tons. SovEcon continues to estimate barley and corn exports at 400 thousand tons and 500 thousand tons, respectively. The Russian Grain Union (RGU) estimated grain shipments last month at 2.98 million tons—2.1 times less than in the same month last year (6.15 million tons), writes "Interfax" citing the union's monitoring. In particular, wheat shipments fell by 2.2 times to just over 2 million tons, barley by 2.8 times to 465.5 thousand tons, while corn exports increased by 32% to 456 thousand tons. The number of companies exporting wheat in July decreased to 31 from 108 a year earlier. Buyers were 23 countries, whereas in July 2024, 48 states imported Russian wheat.
