Thus, according to the plans of the sectoral ministry, 47.74 million hectares are planned for sowing in the 2023 season. A year earlier, the area was at the level of 47.51 million hectares. In comparison with the previous year, crops under wheat (both spring and winter) will be reduced by almost 468 thousand hectares to 29 million hectares. The opposite trend will be for such crops as rye (an increase in area by about 8 thousand hectares to 911 thousand hectares).

Thus, according to the plans of the sectoral ministry, 47.74 million hectares are planned for sowing in the 2023 season. A year earlier, the area was at the level of 47.51 million hectares. In comparison with the previous year, crops under wheat (both spring and winter) will be reduced by almost 468 thousand hectares to 29 million hectares. The opposite trend will be for such crops as rye (an increase in area by about 8 thousand hectares to 911 thousand hectares), barley (by 387 thousand hectares to 8.38 million hectares), corn (+112 thousand hectares to 2.95 million), as well as rice (an increase of 1.5 thousand hectares to 178 thousand hectares).
