"Today we are in a more favorable process, as we now know where we must attack, so the solution for this disease should advance quickly. But awareness still needs to be generated so that this process can continue," said Victor Silveira, market consultant and co-owner of VS8 Agrisolutions. In search of combating the disease, Syngenta is betting on the Tymirium® molecule for the composition of a new nematicide and fungicide in joint action. The molecule is in the registration phase, and the product, still without a defined name, should be launched in 2026.
