The Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex) has reported a significant decrease in unmilled corn exports from Brazil in October, with a volume of 6,406,204.6 tons, which is 24.2% less than the previous year. This decline is attributed to a smaller crop harvest in the 2023/24 season and high international prices, making American corn more competitive. As a result, Brazil's revenue from corn exports in October fell by 32.8% year-over-year, totaling US$ 1.278 billion.
