According to the Yemeni Ministry of Commerce, available wheat resources in the country can meet domestic demand for two and a half months. Now the stocks are 70.4 thousand tons, 106 thousand tons of imported wheat will arrive in August/September. Another 32.3 thousand tons of wheat will be supplied by the United Nations, which feeds about 13 million people in Yemen every month.
