This is being done to ensure the availability of meat and milk supplies and to strengthen national food security. Zulhas said that importers can import live cattle without restrictions for various purposes, ranging from fattening, slaughtering, to milk production to support the livestock industry and consumer needs. "Now we are opening it wide. Live cattle imports, live cattle imports for slaughter, fattening, or milk.
