Description
Intense color, almost dark garnet tone, clear and fluid with a tile edge, violet rims, dynamic, bright and clear, high layer with great structure.
Powerful aroma with a light touch of ripe black berries, notes of toasted skin and somewhat herbaceous tones reminiscent of scrubland, with intense balsamic hints.
Dense flavor in the mouth, powerful with an elegant hint of fine melted chocolate with various spices present, which are attenuated by the outstanding tannic touch. Quite sweet and pleasant tannins, with nuances of liquorice and a prominent presence of oak. Long and persistent. Exquisite balance between mouth and nose.
Indicated to take with Serrano ham, roasted and grilled Segureño lamb, traditional stews (braised, cooked), baked veal, beef, duck confit, Iberian sausages, foie gras and (very) cured cheeses accompanied by some vegetables.
