The storage plants of the company are located in the production plant itself in Santiago, Chile. The final product is stored in a cool and dry place. It is ensured that the product is not exposed to direct sunlight. It is ensured that the final product is not exposed to high temperatures. The final product is packed into retail packaging of 240ml or 250g PET bottles. They are ready for shipment 15 days after the confirmation of the order. The preferred mode of shipment is through marine shipping and the nearest ports from the facility are Port San Antonio (88 minutes by road from production and storage) and Port Valparaiso (92 minutes by road from production and storage).

SPES Chile ensured that all quality standards are met. They have ISO 9001:2015 (Bureau Veritas) and NCh 2861. Of. 2004 (Bureau Veritas) certifications. They are approved by the FDA and HACCP and also have other certifications like Ifanca, Halal and Kosher. They function according to the standards set by PAC SERNAPESCA (Programa de Aseguramiento de Calidad del Servicio Nacional de Pesca y Acuicultura). This product can additionally be certified in accordance with customers’ requirements as Kosher Badatz or Kosher Badatz Jerusalem.

The average product is 396 metric tons per year. The production takes place throughout the year depending on the orders from the clients. The processing plans and factory operations are located in Santiago, Chile. The production process involves extra refinement and deodorization of the fish oils. There is a maximum of 100 employees working in the processing plant.

NUTRA BABY is a product formulated by medical paediatricians and nutritionists to give the baby the perfect balance of long-chain Omega 3 DHA/EPA and Omega 6. Both nutrients are necessary to reach an optimum development. Its formulation and presentation enable it to be added to the food in an easy and practical way. It is edible oil which is appropriate for babies between the age of 6 to 36 months approximately. It contributes to learning and memory processes, protects the nervous system and the brain function. It also aids in enhancing the visual function of the baby along with improving the immune system response to inflammation.

SPES Chile offers NUTRA BABY supplements which are made from a mix or combination of marine (sardine, anchovy, mackerel and /or salmon) and vegetable oils (sunflower, soy and/or canola). It is extra refined, deodorized and rich in long-chain Omega-3. The supplements contain EPA/DHA contents which are long-chain Omega-3 fatty acids. It does not change the taste of the food and can be added directly to the prepared food. 10 ml can be consumed daily in two means: 5 ml at lunch and 5 ml at dinner.
