Fruit bars different flavors

SUQA´s goal is to sell the best quality at a reasonable price. They are a family business, and proud to have a great relationship with the farmers and offer a high-level product to their customers.

The company's fruit bars are sold 100% to food distributors in the export market. They have exported to the USA, Europe, Israel, Turkey, Japan, Ecuador, Panamá, and Costa Rica. The goal is to develop their presence around the world and, since they are Kosher certified, increase also sales to Israel.

SUQA has warehouses in two of their plants, where products are stored at ambient temperature on racks. The company uses metalized paper to pack the fruit bars, and later they go in bags with 50 packs of twelve units.
Depending on the volume, once the order is made it takes from 15 to 30 days for the product to be ready for shipment. The product can be sent from the Cartagena or Barranquilla ports (one day by truck from Bogotá) or by airfreight from the Bogotá Airport.

SUQA has a strict and complete monitoring of raw material from its arrival, with a track record of products by batches. There is a manual selection of the fruits that will be used, filtering strange materials, with visual control that is run on five independent processes, apart from sanitary registration and certification, and best production processes implemented. SUQA is Kosher certified.

While in 2019 we produced 100,000 units, SUQA has installed capacity to produce up to 1million units if needed. SUQA purchases fresh non-GMO fruit from different producers in Colombia used to produce the fruit bars in its Bogotá factory. Once the fresh fruits arrive at the plant, they ripen, get cleaned, disinfected, peeled it, and later on cut. All the process is done manually by workers. As the last step they then put the fruit in ovens for 10 to 12 hours before grinding it and elaborating the fruit bars.

SUQA offers fruit bars that are natural, with no additives, and that goes hand in hand with the healthy trends that are growing in the world. Their product has a high nutritional value and is made out of fruits that have been delivered fresh and processed carefully by their workers. The flagship fruit bars are Banana and Coffee, Pineapple and Coconut, Mango and Pineapple, and Pineapple and Cocoa. However, the company can produce any combination upon request, using the aforementioned products, as well as cape gooseberry, almonds, papaya, and coconut. Once produced, if properly stored, the fruit bars can last up to 18 months.
