LLC RPK Northern offers fresh-frozen fish and seafood from Far East Russia. They deal in Pacific Squid which is also called the Japanese Flying Squid (Todarodes pacificus). Squid as food is prepared in different ways across the globe. No matter how it is prepared (barring deep fry of course) it is one seafood variety that is loaded with nutrients. Barring people who have high cholesterol for who may want to moderate their squid intake, the rest stand to benefit enormously by including squid in their daily diet. Squid has 63% of selenium. A low level of selenium is found to be one of the causes of rheumatoid arthritis. The antioxidant in selenium may help relieve symptoms of arthritis. Squid is rich in vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin B3 and vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is especially good to reduce risks related to the heart. Vitamin B3 helps stabilise sugar levels.
LLC RPK Northern offers BQF, sea frozen and unwashed Pacific Squid. The average weight of the squid is 100-200 gram / 150-250 gram / 250-350 gram or 350+ grams. The frozen squid can be stored for 12 months at -18 ° C.
