The following production process is followed to extract the noni powder:
- Percolation: Process of removing the active substance from raw materials, such as leaves.
- Evaporation: Process that concentrates or thickens the product and is a tool for the recovery of solvents used in the percolator.
- Deep sterilization: Process is performed after the evaporation process. The goal is for condensation and to free the product from bacteria and microorganisms.
- Vacuum belt drying: Used to dry products into small granules of powder. The advantage is a short drying process, that does not eliminate the smell of the product. no oxidation, no loss of product, low temperatures, no pollution, hygienic systems and the reaction products can be controlled.

The noni plant, native to Asia, Australia, and the islands of Polynesia, is a small, shrubby tree. The plant's white flowers are tubular. The fruit is yellow-greenish-white in colour and large, with a pebbled surface. The ripe fruit has a characteristic cheese-like, bad odour.
