Mex & Global has its own storage facilities for each type of product. The Hass avocados are kept in cold storage rooms with temperatures between 4 to 7 degrees Celsius. They pack these products in a 25 lbs carton boxes. After confirmation of the orders, they take 2 weeks to prepare the consignment. The main ways to export the avocados are by land (USA and Canada) and by marine freight. The main ports used are the Manzanillo Port and Altamira Port.

Description
Mex & Global cultivates these best quality avocadoes at their own farm at Michoacan region of Mexico. Michoacan has favorable weather conditions along with fertile lands. The region has become the largest producer of avocado in Latin America and is one of the biggest exporters in the world. The key to becoming the world capital of avocado is the combination of several factors and these include ideal weather year-round and equitable distribution of rainfall. This allows Michoacan region to be the only place where avocado has up to 4 blooms per year when the normal number is up to 2 blooms per year. The cultivation is conventional plantation farming and organic method. The harvest season is from July to March. The harvest is done manually and the whole processing can involve up to 200 people. The average annual production of Hass avocado by the company is 3000 MT.

Botanically, avocado (also known as ‘Alligator Pear’), is a large berry that contains a single seed. The product is best suited for consumption or for further processing. The fresh Hass avocados have a validity of 45 days from yield. The cultivation of Hass avocados is conventional or organic and both are non-GMO. Samples of these fruits are available upon request.
