The wholesale price of soybean in India (Malegaon) jumped 144.84% YoY up to USD 0.84/kg in W2 of September 2022, compared to the same period last year when the price was USD 0.34/kg. The erratic monsoon that hit India on August 22 caused lower production and quality of soybean, which is in a harvest period.
