Rudy Snijders decidedthe decision in 1993 to put his expertise and in-depth knowledge of the food industry, particularly that of processed meats, at the disposal of ebullient and ambitious businesspeople. The result? is the establishment of Euro-Délices, a genuine commercial agency in Rocourt that connects food producers and clients who handle deliveries and billing among themselves. The project's novelty and seriousness soon attracted attention, and both the number of clients and the intended product range have continued to expand.
Customers soon demand that Euro-Délices handle orders, shipping, and billing as well. Thus, in 1996, Euro-Délices Distribution was established as a platform to directly manage customer orders, product delivery, and billing.
In 2002 Euro-Délices moved into a 400 m2 building in the industrial area of Hauts-Sarts 2002 because of the constant growth in the number of customers. Euro-Délices adds catering items, fish marinades, and cheese products to its product line during the same time. Before 2006, the decision was made to regroup the physical platform and nerve center of Euro-Délices. At first, the logistics activity remained based in Hoeselt.
In 2008 the Hauts-Sarts industrial area, new buildings are being built in Bottom. Since 2008, all activities are organized in a setting that is completely tailored to the requirements and characteristics of Euro-Délices. Additionally, we discover a three-story, refrigerated warehouse that can accommodate approximately 1000 pallets! In 2010, the activities of Euro-Délices Distribution include the agency Euro-Délices. Around twenty people work there daily to build Euro-Délices Distribution into what it is today. All of this takes place in a family setting where everyone contributes. Additionally, turnover is expanding at a steady rate. The revenue in 2002 was 5,500,000 Euros. They earned more than 30,000,000 euros in 2014.
In 2012, its own logistics center for District will open, enabling customers to receive even better service. Because turnover and product count have been steadily rising, it was decided in 2014 to double the surface area of the refrigerated warehouse. This provides us with approximately 1600 pallet spaces in addition to a packaging workspace where we can provide the Belgian charcuterie wholesaler with a private label.
