What happens if I didn’t receive any supplier offers?
Overview
If you did not receive any supplier offers within 14 days after creating your sourcing request, your request quota will be returned to you and it can be used to make a new request.
Introduction
A sourcing request has a validity period of 14 days from the date of creation. Within the validity period, you can receive and select supplier offers. After 14 days, your request will close and you will no longer receive or be able to select supplier offers.
If you did not receive any supplier offers within 14 days, your request quota will be returned to you and can be used to make a new request.
The request quota system
One request quota per sourcing request
Request quotas represent how many requests you can make on the platform.
Note: One request quota allows you to make one request.
One request is valid for 14 days
Once a request has been created and posted, it is valid for 14 days. Suppliers may submit offers during that period of time before the request closes.
Request quotas returned if no offers received
If no offers were received during the 14 days, your request quota will be returned to your account and can be used to create a new request.
How to check your remaining request quota
You can check your remaining request quotas through the dashboard located on the top of My Requests page.
