The wholesale price of fresh mango in the Fengtai wholesale market registered a 30% WoW increase in Week 30 of the year when it reached USD 2.18/kg and more than a 100% YoY increase. As local demand for mangos in China has been increasing, prices have substantially risen due to the delays of mango local varieties. The combination of insufficient domestic supply to cover demand and the delay in the local varieties has also made imports of Mango in China increase.
