The wholesale price of dried mung beans in China fell -18.43% YoY to 1.45 USD/KG in W2 January 2022. The decline in prices was driven by high demand thus increasing its imports to almost 170K mt in the first eight months of 2021, which resulted in a large supply in the country. However, prices that continue to fall may attract importers, thereby increasing China's dried mung bean exports.
