The wholesale price of peaches in China has steadily declined since mid-May from USD 0.52/kg in W3 May 2022 to USD 0.33/kg in W2 June 2022 which constitutes a 36.54% decrease. The price dip is due to the domestic production of Chinese peaches commencing at the end of May and entering the market. Prices are expected to remain lower than 2021 levels until the end of the production season in early October with likely price decreases as China moves into peak production during July and August.
