The wholesale price of fresh onion/yellow variety in the Netherlands plummeted 30.76% WoW to USD 0.18/kg in W5 of October 22. Slow export sales of fresh onions from the Netherlands, due to the dominance of Chinese onion in Asian markets, is driving the price down.
