Avocado Price in Russia Jumped up by 18.41% YoY

The wholesale price of fresh avocado of Hass variety in Russia jumped 18.41% YoY to USD 7.15/kg in W2 of June 2022 compared to the same period last year. The highest price this year was recorded in W4 of May with a record of USD 7.45/kg. Lower supply from oversea countries like Peru, Kenya and Israel increased the price of avocados, mainly due to higher transportation cost and traders redirecting avocados to European market.
