US Shallot Price Escalate in August 2021

The significant price increase that occurred last August made the value of shallots very expensive in the US market. The price change even increased by +106% YoY. Onion prices hit an all-time high of $25.2 per carton 4 1-gallon plastic jars in early August. Potatoes imported from Canada also hit a high of 7.83 USD per KG last July 2021 in Florida.
